Former Tipperary football manager Peter Creedon will take charge of the Laois footballers in 2017.
The Cork man was named as the choice of the Laois County Committee on Monday night and will be joined by Mickey McGeehan as coach.
Creedon was appointed as Tipperary manager midway through the 2012 season after John Evans quit following a league loss to Sligo and managed the Premier County through four summers.
Donegal man McGeehin has worked as a coach with Donegal and Limerick before a spell with Tipperary while Creedon was in charge.
A Secondary School Principal, Creedon suceeds Mick Lillis who stood down after one year in the role.
