Eire Og, Carrickmore 3-14
Eoghan Ruadh, Dungannon 2-14
Eire Og completed a hat-trick of Benburb Cup successes when they edged out arch-rivals Eoghan Ruadh at Healy Park yesterday.
A Christy Meenagh goal helped the winners to an early 1-2 to 0-3 lead. Philip Barker replied with a Eoghan Ruadh goal to leave them trailing by two, 1-7 to 1-9, at the interval.
With the sides level at 1-12 each in the second half, Sean Og Grogan scored a crucial goal and Tony Hughes quickly added another to propel the holders into a 3-13 to 1-13 lead.
Matthew Mulgrew pulled one back for the Dungannon men, but Eire Og held on.
