Kildare beat Westmeath by 1-16 to 1-3 at Portlaoise to advance to a second successive provincial U21 final.
Neil Flynn hit 1-5 for the Lilywhites, including a second-half penalty, while Ben McCormack, Con Kavanagh and Chris Healy got ten points between them. Westmeath managed just one point after the restart, having trailed by 0-9 to 1-2 at the interval.
The winners registered the first seven points of the match before the Lake County opened their account with a 17th-minute Jack Quinn goal. That was as good as it got for them, however.
The Leinster final will be played in a fortnight, when either holders Dublin or Laois (who meet on Saturday afternoon) will provide the opposition.
