Limerick GAA could be on the lookout for a new treasurer after a management meeting tonight.
The Examiner is reporting that Donal Morrissey has threatened to quit the role in a dispute over the proposed reappointment of Mike O'Riordan as secretary.
Back in 2009, O'Riordan was appointed as the county's first full-time secretary and his seven year term is coming to an end.
It is reported that Morrissey is not happy with the procedures surrounding plans to extend O'Riordan's tenure.
Apparently, he is unhappy that the position wasn't advertised publicly and he will let his feelings be known at a management committee meeting which is scheduled to take place at Munster GAA HQ in Castletroy tonight.
