A tweet by Colm Parkinson hasn't gone down well with fellow Laois man Gary Walsh.
Former O'Moore County star and Newstalk analyst Parkinson irked Ballylinan's Walsh when he seemed to imply that the involvement of 1997 All-Ireland minor winning captain Kieran Kelly (Ballylinan) and John Strong (Emo) in Mick Lillis' management had led to the two clubs being over-represented on the team for yesterday's O'Byrne Cup clash with UCD in Ratheniska.
4 Emo lads and 3 Ballylinan lads on the Laois team. New selectors this year from these clubs. Gas

An unimpressed Walsh, who started at full forward yesterday, hit back with the following tweet:
@Woolberto for ur own health & safety don't mention Ballylinan in a tweet ever again cheers

The war of words continued this afternoon when Parkinson wondered why Walsh hadn't deleted his tweet yet.
Threatening tweet last night from a Laois panel member still not deleted. What a shambolic set up that panel must be https://t.co/7kBarbf3jH
