Kilcormac/Killoughey's bid for a four-in-a-row of Sean Robbins Cup was dashed by a Stephen Wynne-inspired St. Rynagh's in today's semi-final at O'Connor Park.
Wynne scored 1-11 as Francis Forde's men ran out 1-22 to 1-16 winners in front of 4,367 spectators. Ger Healion scored a late consolation goal for the double Ks as Rynagh's moved to within 60 minutes of their first senior title in 22 years.
The Banagher/Cloghan outfit's opponents in the final will be Coolderry, who cruised to a 2-15 to 1-10 victory over Birr in the first part of the double-header. Brian Carroll and Kevin Connolly scored goals in a five-minute spell to pave the way for a first Coolderry-St. Rynagh's decider since 1986.
