Experienced Wexford defender Graeme Molloy looks set to miss on the remainder of the campaign through injury.
Molloy underwent surgery on a knee injury late last year, but complications have arose during his recovery, setting his rehabilitation back.
The St James' club man has been ruled out of Wexford's opening Leinster SFC match against either Louth or Westmeath on June 14th and Wexford manager David Power admitted to the Wexford People that it was unlikely that Molloy would feature this year.
"I cannot put a timeframe on it. His progress has been slow but given the nature of his injury and his rehab problems I can say he is out for the season," said Power.
"His fitness levels at this stage would be low, so with the injury now, it's very much long term."
