Liam Rushe and Peter Kelly have been appointed joint-captains of the Dublin hurling team.
Manager Ger Cunningham confirmed the duo would be succeeding Johnny McCaffrey in the role after yesterday's crucial victory over Galway, which earned the Dubs an Allianz League quarter-final against Limerick next weekend.
"Liam Rushe and Peter Kelly are the joint-captains - they're two of Dublin's best players," he noted.
"They're the leaders on the team, really. They're the inspirational guys. The players looked up to them, two class players, two All Stars."
