The 12-month ban on Wexford hurler Andrew Shore has been upheld by a Hearing Committee in the UK.
Shore was alleged to have played illegally for Birmingham side Roger Casements last October, even though the Wexford hurler is adamant that his paperwork was in order.
Now plying his trade with the Parnells' club in Dublin, Shore attended the hearing in the U.K last Saturday, and was informed that the Hearings Committee had decided to impliment the full sanction.
The Wexford People report that Shore has three days to make an appeal.
