Aran Islands (Galway) 0-16
Achill Island (Mayo) 0-8
Aran Islands have recorded a double-scores victory over Achill Island in a truly unique Connacht club JFC final at Tuam Stadium.
The Galway junior champions were always in control, leading by 0-8 to 0-4 at half-time and eventually pulling away from a comfortable victory after Pee Sweeney's '45' had left just a goal between the sides early in the second half.
Some excellent score-taking by Mairtin Gill, Eoin Pol and Cillian Connolly in the last 20 minutes secured an historic success for the Oileann Arann men.
