Carrick 3-20
Gortletteragh 0-7
Carrick turned on the style in the second half to hammer Gortletteragh by 22 points and claim their 31st Leitrim SHC title at Ballinamore.
Such an outcome could not have been predicted after points from Cathal McCrann, Kevin McGrath and Tomas Beirne left Gortletteragh just a point adrift, 0-3 to 0-4, after 22 minutes.
But a goal from substitute Sean O'Toole just before half-time handed the county town side a 1-6 to 0-4 lead and they ran riot after the restart with man of the match Colm Moreton scoring two goals and free-taker Clement Cunniffe finishing with a tally of 0-8.
