GAA players and supporters have been taking to social media in their droves to wish Kevin McCloy a speedy recovery and to pass on their prayers.

The former Derry captain and All Star full back was taken to hospital last night after collapsing during a club game and one of the first to send him good wishes was Oak Leaf fan and Northern Ireland Deputy Minister Martin McGuinness who tweeted: "Thoughts and prayers with Kevin McCloy his family and Lavey GAC. Warmest best wishes for a speedy recovery."
