Silence deafening in Louth

Louth huddle before their qualifier clash with Tyrone in Omagh. INPHO
There hasn't been a squeak out of the Louth camp since their disappointing Qualifier humbling against Tyrone.
In the wake of a major championship match, choice quotes usually abound in both the local and national media but, this time ... nothing. It's a lockdown.
Neither manager Aidan O'Rourke nor any of his players have made any public comments on the team's heavy defeat in Omagh on Saturday; they refused to speak to the media directly after the 17-point hammering, which was an apt ending to a forgettable year for the Reds. Since then, no comments have been forthcoming.
In all their competitive matches in 2014, Louth only managed to beat one team - Westmeath. They got the better of the Lake County in both the O'Byrne Cup and the Leinster SFC.
Apart from that, they lost to DCU and Dublin in the O'Byrne Cup and managed draws with Armagh and Galway in the league but were beaten by Laois, Down, Monaghan, Donegal and Meath as they crashed into Division Three.
Having knocked Westmeath out of Leinster, the Wee County lost to Kildare by 15 points prior to last weekend's thumping. Maybe there's just nothing to say?
