Not good enough from Galway, says Lane

Galway hurling legend Noel Lane is frustrated by the Tribesmen's lack of consistency.
As the westerners prepare to lock horns with Kilkenny this weekend for a place in the 2014 Leinster SHC final, the former Galway hurler and manager points out that intermittent good performances every now and then do not cut the mustard:
"I'm expecting a big performance but it's a pity that we're hanging on for a big performance every year," the three-times All-Ireland winner is quoted in The Irish Times.
"It's not good enough. There's an acceptance that one good performance and win will lift the doom and gloom but we have to get consistency in our game and have high performances every day.
"We have to be capable of beating any of the top teams or stringing three in a row to win the All-Ireland."
