The Fr Manning Gaels clubman marked Ciaran Kilkenny when the midlanders lost out to Dublin by 0-5 to 0-10 in the 2011 Leinster MFC while he was a substitute on the U-21 team that pulled off a shock provincial victory over the Dubs two years later.
A Hastings Cup medalist the same year, Brian's medal collection included every underage medal that was to be won in Longford.
He wore the number three jersey for Fr Manning Gaels' senior team this year.
Brian's funeral will take place in Drumlish tomorrow (Thursday) at 1pm.
