With qualification for the quarter-finals already secured, Clare manager Davy Fitzgerald has made seven changes to his team for today's Allianz Hurling League clash with Galway in Ennis.
Patrick Kelly returns in goal for his first start of the campaign, while Jack Browne makes his league debut at left corner back to the exclusion of David McInerney.
Paul Flanagan is drafted into the half back line with Pat O'Connor moving to midfield where he forms a new midfield partnership with Colm Galvin. As a result of these changes, Pat Donnellan and Colin Ryan drop to the bench.
Hurler of the Year Tony Kelly returns at centre forward with Shane Golden also coming in and Podge Collins switching to corner forward. The players to make way up front are John Conlon and Conor McGrath.
