Conn O Ceallachain inspired Colaiste Eoin to a comeback victory over Marist College in this evening's Leinster PP Schools SF final at Croke Park.

The talented Cuala clubman scored 0-9 as the Stillorgan school bridged a 16-gap to win their second provincial title and make amends for their final defeats in 2010 and 2012. For Marist, the wait goes on for their first title, with defeat having also been their lot in the 1983 and '99 deciders.

The Westmeath school looked to be on course for an historic victory when Charlie McMickan's 13th minute goal helped them to a 1-5 to 0-5 lead at the break.

But Colaiste Eoin levelled early in the second half when Colm O'Neill netted. The sides were still level at 1-7 apiece going into the final quarter, but two frees from O Ceallachain and another point from Fionn Ó Riain Broin sealed victory for the Dublin school, who will face the MacRory Cup winners in the All-Ireland semi-final on March 29.
