Roscommon were crowed Hastings Cup U21 football champions at Ardagh, Co. Longford today after easing to a 0-13 to 1-3 victory over Meath.

The highly-rated Rossies never looked in any danger after building up a 0-10 to 1-1 half-time lead. The second half produced just five points as the Connacht side claimed the silverware.
