Watch: wins for Ardboe & Carrick' in Ulster MFC club

December 18, 2013

All four teams involved deserve immense credit
See interviews, match action and colour from both games on the second weekend of the 2013/14 Ulster Minor Club Tournament, sponsored by Bank of Ireland.

All four teams involved deserve immense credit for battling courageously in terrible weather conditions and providing entertainment in two close games, but ultimately the decisions went to Ardboe and Carrickmacross over Rostrevor and St John's respectively.

From the first game, Ardboe manager Benny Hurl praises both teams and Rostrevor manager Aidan Murray tips the Tyrone champions to beat holder Watty Grahams in the semi-finals. Then Carrickmacross manager Seamus Mulholland and players Niall Loughman and Kevin O'Hanlon express their delight at beating the Johnnies and reaching the last four in Ulster.

The competition continues this weekend with Silverbridge v Ramor United and Ardboe v Watty Grahams.
