Enda Williams has quit the Leitrim panel to rejoin his native Longford.

The Clonguish clubman left Longford after helping them to the 2011 Allianz FL Division 4 crown and has togged out for Leitrim for the last two seasons.

The centre back qualified to represent Leitrim under the parentage rule as his late father was from Aughavas.

Williams' term with his adopted county was a success as the Longford man helped Leitrim to their first-ever Qualifier win in 2012 and also collected an FBD Connacht league medal this year.

However, the 2002 Leinster MFC winner is now back on board with Longford and is sure to feature in Jack Sheedy's senior squad in 2014.
