The scoring stakes
Today we saw three senior football championship matches take place, with two in Leinster and one in Munster.
The action kicked off at 5pm when Kildare took on Offaly in the Leinster SFC. The Lilywhites are looking to break Dublin's dominance in the province and were favourites to win this opening game at Croke Park.
This was followed by the meeting of Dublin at Westmeath at 7pm. The Dubs are many people's favourites to lift the All-Ireland this year. However, they faced an in-form Westmeath side that could have cause them problems.
Also at 7pm was the meeting of Kerry and Waterford in the Munster senior football championship. The Kingdom were the unbackable favourites in this match at Fitzgerald Stadium. Follow what happened in all three games on the link below.
