Goalkeeper John Flynn says Wicklow have sparked to life just in time for the championship.
The Garden County endured a disappointing league but seem to have hit form just in time for Sunday's Leinster SFC meeting with Longford in Aughrim, according to their goalie:
"It's like somebody has flicked a switch in us," the Baltinglass clubman says in The Wicklow People.
"We've played a few practice games and won them, beat Tipperary and Louth. But the thing that stood out for me against Louth was the intensity that we played with.
"I haven't seen that intensity since the league final last year. I seen James Stafford playing at centre half forward and holding off Paddy Keenan with one hand and catching a ball with the other and then charging towards goal.
"I haven't seen Stafford doing that since the league final. It's like something has clicked with everyone.
"The negativity has gone and I have absolute faith is anyone who is wearing a Wicklow jersey this Sunday."
