Keenan: it'll be tough and tight

Louth's Paddy Keenan
Louth captain Paddy Keenan is braced for a tough match against Laois.

There's never much between these two counties and the St Patricks clubman expects a typically tight contest when they lock horns at O'Moore Park on Sunday:

"It will probably be a tight game again and it always has been tight the last few times we've played Laois," he says in The Drogheda Independent.

"I don't think either team will be overwhelming favourites. I'd say both sides are expecting a point or two either way.

"People looking at it from the outside will see Laois as a stronger team with a better pedigree and history. They were playing in Division One until recently, so they will be seen as slight favourites.

"We certainly won't be getting carried away or think it's going to be an easy game - we know it's going to be a huge battle."
