Down receive Hughes boost

Down's Danny Hughes
Danny Hughes has returned to Down training ahead of Sunday week's Ulster SFC quarter-final against Derry.
The 2010 All Star missed the Mourne County's entire Allianz League campaign due to a combination of groin, hamstring and calf injuries, but made his return to action as a substitute in a club game for Saval against Downpatrick last week and could play a full game for them against Longstone tomorrow night.
Longstone's Ambrose Rogers could also play in the All-County League Division 1 clash as he continues his recovery from knee surgery.
Welcoming Hughes' return, Down assistant manager Jerome Johnston said in the Irish News: "He's put himself in contention to play (against Derry).
"He's back, he's trained the last two or three weeks. He's only played one match for his club, so obviously he's rusty. But he's back playing which is great for us."
