Galway's Gareth Bradshaw attacks against Sligo
Alan Mulholland has named the Galway team for Sunday's Connacht SFC showdown against Mayo and it shows numerous changes from the one that exited last year's championship at the hands of Antrim.

Manus Breathnach replaces Adrian Faherty in goal while Colin Forde takes over from injured captain Finian Hanley at full-back.

Also in defence, Gary O'Donnell and Tomas Fahy are replaced by Gary Sweeney and Gary Rice - who was in the half-forward line against Antrim - respectively.

Niall Coleman replaced the retired Joe Bergin and midfield while Thomas Flynn and Danny Cummins come into the attack.

Gareth Bradshaw will captain the team from his right half-back berth in Hanley's absence.

Galway (Connacht SFC v Mayo) - Manus Breathnach; Johnny Duane, Colin Forde, Gary Sweeney; Gareth Bradshaw (captain), Keith Kelly, Gary Sice; Niall Coleman, Fiontan O Curraoin; Thomas Flynn, Paul Conroy, Conor Doherty; Sean Armstrong, Michael Meehan, Danny Cummins.
