Armagh's Jamie Clarke is expecting a ding-dong battle with Cavan in next Sunday's Ulster SFC preliminary round at Kingspan Breffni Park.
The Crossmaglen ace, who marked his return from a spring break in South America with a hat-trick of goals in a SF challenge against Louth last Sunday week, cautioned in the Irish News: "We know it's not going to be easy against Cavan, but we know what we have to do.
"Obviously with the minors and U21 teams they've been producing, they're going to be a force to be reckoned with in the next couple of years. We know we're not going to have it easy, but we fancy ourselves and we're confident going into the match.
"Before I went away, you could see how well things had improved and we're improving on a consistent basis which is good and it's about getting that winning mentality back."
