Dublin boss Anthony Daly was understandably disappointed after his side exited the Allianz Hurling League at the penultimate stage following a 15-point loss to Tipperary at Semple Stadium this afternoon.
Dublin shaded the possession stakes in the opening half, but found themselves 3-11 to 0-8 in arrears at half-time.
Tipperary continued to impress on the restart, with Tipperary's fourth goal coming at the death after Dublin keeper Alan Nolan played the ball into his own net.
"I'm very disappointed now," Daly said after the game.
"We stood off in the first half and if you stand off those lads you will be punished.
"We would have done a heavy couple of weeks training, but just - it's hard to put your finger on that to be honest.
"You could be pointing to (the gap) between Division 1A and Division 1B. The basics of going to the ball and going out to trust yourself to go to it.
"If you give the Tipp lads three and four yards going to the ball you will be punished and no better team than that Tipp team to punish you."
