McIver: Bradley decision for another day

April 19, 2013

Derry's Paddy Bradley
Brian McIver says he'll assess Paddy Bradley when he's back playing club football.

Derry's ace attacker is currently sidelined as he rehabilitates from a cruciate ligament operation and his manager tells The Irish News:

"Paddy has been rehabbing and at the minute our focus is on the 40 players we have available to us.

"If and when Paddy is up and playing really, really well for the club, as with anybody else, one thing at county level is that, if somebody is playing really, really well, we will look at them.

"But that is for further down the line. Our immediate focus is the 40 lads we have and that focus is on Sunday week."

McIver adds that both PJ McCloskey and Barry McGoldrick remain doubtful for the Division Two final against Westmeath, while Mark Lynch will return. Dermot McBride and Carlus Williams will not be risked. Ryan Scott is still ruled out long term.
