There has been a mixed reaction to the proposed design of the new Offaly GAA jersey which was unveiled at last night's county board meeting.

The new design has drawn both praise and criticism on social media sites over the past 24 hours. Gone are the traditional green, white and gold hoops with gold now the predominant colour on the front of the jersey, which once again sports the Carroll's logo. The back of the jersey is almost entirely green, with gold and white stripes running from the collar down along the side of the jersey.

It remains to be seen if Offaly delegates give the new-look strip the thumbs-up.
