Pa Cronin's captaincy of the Cork senior hurling team got off to a winning start against UCC in the Waterford Crystal Cup at The Mardyke on Saturday.
Two goals in the space of a minute establish a 2-9 to 0-10 half-time lead for Jimmy Barry Murphy's outfit.
Willie Griffin raised a third green flag via a 20m free in the second half.
