Brian Lacey has joined the Kildare minor football management team.

The former Kildare All Star had been linked with a position on the Lilywhites senior management team but has instead been enlisted by his former county team-mate Bryan Murphy to work with the county U18s.

Lacey, who was selector and coach with the Limerick senior footballers last season, is a major addition to Murphy's think-tank.

The Kildare minor management team for the coming season is completed by Celbridge's Aidan Minnock, Mick Hoban from Naas and Declan McGrath (Kildangan). Tweet
