Antrim hurling boss Kevin Ryan may have to plan without ace forward Liam Watson next year.
The Loughgiel Shamrocks clubman, who played a major role in Shamrocks' All Ireland club success last season, will be concentrating solely on club hurling.
Watson announced his decision via Twitter this evening: 'I have decided after talking 2 antrim manager tat I will be focusing on my club duties from here on in. I wish kevin and panel all the best.'
Loughgiel Shamrocks comfortably claimed a third consecutive Ulster title three weeks ago and will now look forward to defending their title at the All-Ireland semi final stages.
