Nicky English has ruled himself out of the running to become Tipperary's next hurling manager.

The Tipp legend, who managed the county to All-Ireland glory in 2001, told TV3 that he is not in a position to fill the vacancy due to work commitments.

"In my situation, it's not going to be possible for me to do it because of my work situation," explained English, who was co-commentator for yesterday's drawn All-Ireland minor hurling final between Tipperary and Dublin. Tweet
