Tyrone's Sean Cavanagh gets away from Dublin's Kevin Nolan in last year's quarter final at Croke Park
Sean Cavanagh says Mickey Harte was the inspiration behind his weekend wonderpoint.

Having sat out the entire intercounty championship after damaging his shoulder in May, the former Footballer of the Year made a surprise return to club action at the weekend, coming off the bench to thump over a stunning winning point from distance as Moy defeated Derrytresk in the Tyrone IFC.

"Whenever I was out injured with the shoulder, Mickey had me kicking balls from the sidelines and kicking balls from frees for three or four weeks and I suppose that accuracy came in handy.

"I'm back probably seven or eight weeks earlier than the consultant and the physios were telling me.

"This year didn't work out and we have to move on, focus on the club stuff for a number of months and hopefully I will get a good run in that.

"It was really disappointing to get injured again. I got the county season last year and missed the club stuff and it looks like it's going to be vice-versa this year.

"But these are the lads that I grew up with and I'm delighted to be able to help them in any given way."
