Clarke and McKeever head stateside

Armagh's Jamie Clarke and Tyrone's Aidan McCrory
Armagh duo Jamie Clarke and Ciaran McKeever are to spend the summer in the US.

Following the Orchard County's surprise exit from the All-Ireland championship, the duo have decided to head to New York for the summer months where they will line out for Leitrim.

The fact that they will play football in the States rules them out of much of this year's Armagh championship as they will have to wait 60 days from their last match in NY before they can play with their respective clubs.

Clarke and McKeever are not the only two Armagh players to decide to head to America as Brendan Donaghy has taken up an offer to play with Leitrim also, while Michael Stevenson will line out for Connemara in Boston.
