McMahon: Orchard can cope without Stevie

Tyrone's Joe McMahon
Joe McMahon says Armagh are still a major threat, even without Stevie McDonnell.
The Orchard County go into the 2012 championship season without the services of the recently-retired Killeavy hitman but Tyrone's McMahon knows their opponents will have plenty of other young players chomping at the bit when the sides meet in the first round of the Ulster SFC at The Athletic Grounds on Sunday fortnight:
"Obviously, with the retirement of Stevie McDonnell, it's a loss to them but it's also an opportunity for other players to step up too.
"As good a player as Stevie was on his day, other players have come in now as well and they have done a good job. And they will be the ones to watch.
"When you look back to last year in the Qualifiers, with Armagh coming down to Healy Park, and it was championship football, no love lost, a hard-hitting game," the Omagh man continues in The Irish News.
"We expect much the same again this year. Armagh were probably playing much better football in Division One, against better teams, and it will probably stand to them come the 10th of June."
