McCluskey backs his team-mates

Ryan McCluskey believes his Fermanagh team-mates can spring a surprise against Down.
Team captain McCluskey will be a notable absentee when Fermanagh welcome the Mourne County to Brewster Park in the Ulster SFC on Sunday week, having suffered a sinus cavity during a collision at training last weekend, but he believes Peter Canavan's charges can still do the business in his absence:
"It is a big disappointment but I am hoping that I don't need surgery and that the injury is not as bad as first thought," the Erneside captain states in The Irish News.
"But this is not about me. We have a very united squad right from the start of the season when we were tested by starting out later than other counties.
"We put that behind us to gain promotion in a very tough league and I have faith in the lads. I know we have the quality to produce an upset against Down.
"I'm hoping to be back in action in the championship at some stage, but I'm just grateful for all the messages of support since this happened."
