Eamonn Callaghan has emerged as a real injury doubt for Kildare's Leinster SFC opener against Offaly on June 16th.

Callaghan was forced off at half time during his club Naas' surprise senior football championship win over Sarsfields last weekend.

It is believed that the experienced player suffered a groin injury during the match and it is not yet known how long he will be sidelined for.

But, with the Offaly match only three weeks away, Callaghan faces a race against time to prove his fitness.
