Lar Corbett returned to Tipperary training last night - just 48 hours after ending his two-and-a-half month exile.
The Thurles Sarsfields sharpshooter shocked the hurling world when he announced his inter-county retirement at the age of 30 in February, citing working commitments as his reason for doing so. But he delighted Tipp supporters by reversing that decision over the weekend.
Despite having taken a complete break from hurling since Christmas, Corbett took a full part in Tipperary training last night. However, his lack of recent game-time means it's highly unlikely that he will feature in Sunday week's Munster SHC opener against Limerick - something the player himself seems resigned to.
