James Sherry looks set to miss Fermanagh's Division Four final against Wicklow.

The long-serving Sherry has a back problem and is unlikely to play any part in the NFL decider at Croke Park on Saturday week. It would be bitterly ironic for the former Fermanagh captain to miss this contest as he is actually based in the capital, where he works as a physiotherapist.

The Roslea clubman isn't the only injury concern for manager Peter Canavan: full back Barry Owens and wing back Tommy McElroy are also doubtful with hamstring and hip problems respectively.

Martin McGrath is pushing for a starting brief but may have to settle for a place on the bench. Tweet
