Barry Dunnion has re-joined the Donegal football squad after a long injury layoff.
The versatile Four Masters clubman, who was one of the stars of Donegal's 2007 Allianz Football League success, has been plagued by a severe groin problem for the past three years, but is now ready to resume his inter-county career after undergoing an intensive rehabilitation programme.
Meanwhile, wing back Anthony Thompson says Donegal are now turning their thoughts to their first Ulster SFC defence against crisis county Cavan on May 20 after successfully retaining their Division 1 status last Sunday.
"Our priority is championship. That's only six weeks away. It's now about putting the head down and collectively driving towards that," he said.
"Division 1 is definitely a step up and it will stand all the players well going into the Ulster championship. It's that wee bit faster and harder-hitting and it will have been a good learning curve for us all."
