Wexford Park can be a daunting place to go, but not for Roscommon manager Des Newton.

Having defeated Antrim last Sunday and see his side right back in the promotion hunt, Newton stressed that his players head for Wexford full of confidence.

Speaking to the Roscommon Herald, Newton said: People always tend to look at travel games as tough. But we're going to say that the travel isn't going to be an issue. We'll be going there full of confidence.

"Roscommon played Wexford two or three years ago and got a good draw down there and came back here and beat Wexford. So recent history would suggest we have nothing to fear down there and that's the way we'll go at the game." Tweet
