Waterford hurler Tony Browne is not keeping supporters guessing as to his future.

In what has turned into an annual scenario as to whether or not Browne will line out for the county hurlers for another year, the Mount Sion player has wasted no time in returning to the squad for another season.

Browne, usually waits until the NHL starts before deciding on what to do, but he played against Carlow in a challenge match last Friday night.

The former All-Star lined out at centre back for the Déise and looked assured as always, while his fitness levels did not look out of place for that level.

Browne will be 39 in July and is now entering his 22nd year at senior intercounty level having made his debut for Waterford in 1991. Tweet
