Tipperary's Paul Curran and Asaike O hAilpin of Cork battle in out the Munster SHC at Thurles
The Mullinahone man takes over the role from Eoin Kelly, who guided the county to an All-Ireland two seasons ago.
A current All Star at full back, Curran was a substitute for Tipperary's Liam McCarthy Cup win in 2001 and full back in the 2010 success over Kilkenny.
