Westmeath could lose sponsor

Westmeath could become the latest county to find themselves without a sponsor after two businesses owned by Hilamar Hotel proprietor Robert Bagnall went into receivership.
While the Kinnegad-based Hilamar Hotel - which has sponsored the Lake County football and hurling teams for the past five years - isn't in receivership, sister businesses Kinnegad SuperValu Ltd and Centra, Rochfortbridge are.
Westmeath GAA officials are monitoring the situation closely and are facing up to the possibility of having to seek a new sponsor, which will be no easy task in the current economic climate.
