Dromore captain Eoin McCusker lifts the cup
Dromore manager Paul McIver admits that he will have mixed emotions in Sunday's Ulster club clash against Ballinderry.
McIver is a proud Ballinderry clubman and his brother Michael will line out for the Derry champions when the face their Tyrone counterparts at Omagh.
His father Brian lead Ballinderry to an All-Ireland club title in 2002 and the whole family have been immersed in the club all their lives, but on Sunday, Paul will have to put his emotions to one side and concentrate on the game.
"Look, it's very complicated. I always wear my Ballinderry tee-shirt to matches. The boys know that's me and they know what it means to me," McIver stressed to the County Derry Post.
"I'm a big man for the club, and then your county and I always try and get that across to the Dromore lads. They know where I stand and they are happy with that.
"The boys know I'm in an awkward position. That Dromore side runs themselves anyway. Remember they have been in four of the five last county finals."
