John O'Neill's future as Fermanagh football manager will be discussed at a county board meeting next Monday night, October 10.

A review of the county team management was ordered after a turbulent season that saw several players refuse the play under O'Neill. Fermanagh failed to win promotion from Division 4 of the NFL and were well beaten by Derry in the Ulster SFC before being humbled by London in the All-Ireland qualifiers.

It's understood that former Armagh captain Jarlath Burns, who was brought in to help with the review, has met with members of the Fermanagh management as well as with players who refused to play this year. Burns is also believed to have met with players who remained loyal to the manager in a bid to resolve the matter. Tweet
