Last year's Championship captain David Henry was back in training with Dublin for the first time in 2011 earlier this week.

Henry had spent the winter months travelling around the world but returned to Ireland in recent weeks and took part in Tuesday night's panel training session.

Given the fact that he has not played a competitive inter-county game since the All-Ireland semi-final against Cork last August, he is unlikely to feature either against Galway this weekend or the Division 1 league final later in the month.

But the Raheny clubman, who replaced Paul Griffin as skipper during the latter's injury problems in 2010, will attempt to force his way into Pat Gilroy's plans ahead of the Leinster SFC opener against either Longford ort Laois in early June. Tweet
