Keane replaces Walsh in Kerry U21 side

Barry John Keane
Barry John Keane comes straight into the Kerry U21 side in place of clubmate and fellow Kingdom senior panellist Barry John Walsh for Wednesday night's Munster final against Cork.

Keane has completed an eight-week suspension for a red card in the Allianz National League opener against the Rebels in February.

He is named at centre half forward in place of his Kerins O'Rahillys teammate Walsh. The younger brother of Australia-domiciled Tommy, who scored five points against Limerick two weeks ago, misses out with an injury sustained on club duty last week although he is included among the substitutes.

Manager John Kennedy has made two other changes to the side which inflicted a 3-15 to 2-6 defeat on Limerick in the semi-final, with Thomas Ladden of Keel replacing Colm Moriarty at midfield and Dr Crokes youngster David O'Leary coming into the full back line instead of Pa Kilkenny.

Throw-in at Pairc Ui Rinn on Wednesday is at 7.30pm.
