Costigan's season in doubt
January 11, 2011

Tipperary's Robbie Costigan
Tipperary manager John Evans could be without last year's captain Robbie Costigan for the 2011 season.
It is believed that Costigan and a number of his Cahir club mates are set to spend the best part of a year abroad, while the defender is also still recovering from a double suppressed fracture to his cheekbone which he sustained last summer.
There are some positives for the Premier County boss though as attacker Seamus Grogan has returned to the squad having missed last year's championship with work commitments.
Meanwhile, Evans has said that he will keep the door open for dual stars Sean Carey and John Coghlan should they fail to make Declan Ryan's senior hurling squad as they bid to defend their All-Ireland crown in 2011.
